Our Services
When homeowners ask us to assist them with their project needs, there are two major aspects of the project design to coordinate: design elements and budget.
Functional & Aesthetic Design Elements
Perhaps your home is a couple of decades behind in meeting your needs. The space may not flow well or provide for how your family lives. Taste in design and finishes (colors and materials) evolves over time. Working as a team, we encourage you to discover and articulate your taste and express it through "finish" decisions. There are many decisions to make when selecting colors and materials, and we offer our design expertise to assist you in choosing timeless elements.
Part of the thrill of living in a home you have designed is having colors and materials which provide you joy, comfort and reflect your style for years to come. We believe that good space planning and informed, timeless design choices enhance your investment and provide for function and appearance now in the future.
Budget - “How Much Will My Project Cost?”
Altering the architecture of a home is a big investment in time and money. Often, homeowners want to establish what their project will cost before they are certain of the changes they want for their homes. General desires like "replace my kitchen" or "update my bathroom" do not provide us enough information to determine a remodeling budget. Additional square footage may or may not solve your design dilemma, and each home has its own unique structural and site challenges that require resolution during the planning stage of design.
As builders and designers in one company, Toltera considers the structural, financial, and design elements simultaneously. The values of various aspects of the design have to be determined by the homeowner and Toltera — your designer and builder — as the design develops.
